I have created a brilliant Dyslexia Friendly this lesson using the theme of Boxing, for Question 4 is to
’ Compare how the writers convey their different views on boxing’
This is 1 hour lesson for mixed ability groups.
Both Source A and B are included as well as the powerpoint.
The slides support students in helping them with Q4 exploring the writers viewpoints and using key quotes to help them explain the writers point of view.
The objective is for student’s to read both Source A and Source B and then create a ‘PEEZE’ paragraph comparing different viewpoints of each writer.
There are a selection of short interesting and interative tasks to keep students engaged.

Key Quotes from Source A and from Source B have been included in the ‘Teacher Slide’ at the beginning to help you prepare for the lesson.

I have created this resource using the theme of Boxing, I teach 1 hour lessons to lower ability groups but all have potential so I want to encourage this.
On the slides I wanted to support students in helping them with Q2 by exploring key quotes and suggesting what the differences between the articles. I have created short interesting tasks to keep them engaged.
Below are some suggestions you might want to cover with your classes by:
Q2: Refer to Source A and Source B.
Write a summary of the differences in the ways of Boxing described?
How is boxing being described in each source, is it similar or different to each other?
Can you read between the lines to understand these similarities and differences?
